What we collect, why, and what we will never do with it — for this website and for eCommWiz software, including our crosslisting tool for eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and Facebook Marketplace.
Last updated: August 31, 2026
eCommWiz, LLC (“eCommWiz,” “we,” “us”) is a digital marketing and ecommerce company in Jacksonville, Florida. This policy covers ecommwiz.com and the software we make, including our crosslisting application for online resellers. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site or our software.
Information we collect on this website
When you fill out a form, request a quote, or contact us, we collect what you type: usually your name, email address, phone number, business name, and whatever you tell us about your project. We also use analytics (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, rough location, device type. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
The crosslisting software
eCommWiz is building a crosslisting tool that lets resellers create, copy, and remove listings across eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and Facebook Marketplace. When that software is available and you choose to use it, this section applies.
Connecting your marketplace accounts
You connect each marketplace through that marketplace’s own sign-in. Where a marketplace provides an official authorization system, we receive an access token — a revocable key — and we do not see or store your marketplace password. You can disconnect a marketplace at any time, and you can also revoke access from inside that marketplace’s own settings.
What the software processes
To do its job, the software processes your listing and selling data: item titles, descriptions, photos, prices, quantities, categories, the status of your listings, and the sales information needed to keep inventory in sync (for example, marking an item sold on one marketplace so it can be removed from the others). It also stores your account identifiers for each connected marketplace and your settings inside the tool.
How that data is used
Only to run the tool for you: publishing and editing listings where you tell it to, removing listings when an item sells so you do not sell the same item twice, and showing you your own listing and sales activity. We do not sell your data. We do not use your listing or sales data for advertising. We do not share it with anyone except the marketplaces you connect (at your direction) and the service providers that host and run the software.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Access tokens and account data are stored encrypted. We keep your data while your account is active. If you disconnect a marketplace, close your account, or ask us to, we delete the associated data within thirty days, except records we are legally required to keep. To request deletion, email info@ecommwiz.com.
The marketplaces have their own rules
eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and Facebook Marketplace each have their own privacy policies and terms, which govern your accounts on their platforms. Our software follows each marketplace’s developer and data policies, and we honor data-deletion requirements those platforms impose.
Payments
If you pay us — for services or for software plans — payment is handled by established payment processors. We do not store your full card number on our systems.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for analytics and to make things work (for example, remembering that you dismissed something). You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still function.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, email, payments, analytics), when the law requires it, or if the business itself is ever sold or merged — and in that case this policy still applies to your data. We never sell personal information.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email info@ecommwiz.com and we will respond within thirty days. Marketing emails always include an unsubscribe link. We serve customers in the United States, in English and Spanish.
Children
Our website and software are for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, encrypted credential storage, and access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise the impossible; we can promise to act quickly if something goes wrong.
Changes
When we update this policy, we change the date at the top. Meaningful changes to how the crosslisting software handles data will also be announced inside the software.
